Company Uniforms Leveraging Sports Apparel Functionality:Measures to reduce environmental impact

We design and sell company uniforms that combine safety and comfort, leveraging the knowhow from developing sporting goods. To enable wearers to move with ease and work more comfortably, Mizuno work apparel is equipped with functions such as Dynamotion Fit, a signature technology that maximizes movability, Dry Aeroflow, a material with superior sweat-wicking ability, and Breath Thermo, a material that absorbs body moisture and uses it to generate heat.

We are also actively adopting environmentally friendly materials, such as those made from recycled PET or derived from plants, and are further expanding our lineup of products that combine the functionality and comfort developed through our sports business with environmental conservation. We are also partnering with customers to collect and recycle used uniforms, including recycling of materials (to create industrial materials) and chemicals (to create polyesters).

Mizuno Group is aiming to achieve carbon neutrality, i.e. net-zero emissions from corporate activities, by 2050. We will work with partners to implement measures that reduce waste, promote recycling, and preserve our beautiful natural environment for future generations.
