Reusing leftover leather from baseball gloves

Baseball gloves are one of Mizuno's main products.

Each part of the baseball glove is cut from top-grade leather. We are very particular about the quality of the leather, so we take into consideration the elasticity and durability suitable for each part. The manufacturing of our gloves by skilled craftsmen has won the support of many professional baseball players.

However, one problem is that a large amount of leather material is rejected due to wrinkles or scratches, and is left unused for making baseball gloves.

Mizuno continuously recycles the leftover leather to make and sell small items such as wallets and business card holders. Because we use original high-quality leather, these items are greatly esteemed by a wide range of customers, not just baseball fans.
