Mizuno is holding the Mizuno Baseball Dream Cup Junior Tournament, a children’s baseball tournament with the principle of “Don’t get angry at failure and everyone helps each other.”
In sports, kids are sometimes subjected to coaching that is too harsh in the interest of improving their ability. In this tournament, however, our hope is to have as many children as possible experience the joy of simply playing baseball.
Mizuno is working to create opportunities and launch programs that enable anyone to enjoy sports and move their bodies.
Mizuno and World Yuru Sports Association jointly developed 500-step football and are selling the program to corporations, shopping centers, and municipalities.
In recent years, female athletes at competition venues and other locations are increasingly the victim of hidden photography and filming taken for illicit purposes, the images and videos of which are then disseminated over the internet. Mizuno has developed an infrared blocking fabric to help combat this illicit photography.
Mizuno has commercialized the white cane, MizunoCane ST, for the visually-impaired.
Until now, plate spring sports prostheses were designed for top athletes wanting to break records and compete for positions in competitions.
General prostheses designed for daily use like walking cannot be used for running. Also, plate spring prostheses for sports were expensive and difficult to maintain and adjust. As a result, lower limb amputees generally had no choice but to give up sports that involved running.

Plate springs for sports prostheses need to be fitted in various ways depending on the type and degree of disability and performance of the athlete who wears them.
