Partnership Agreement with Suminoe Ward Office, Osaka City

Mizuno has entered into a partnership agreement with Suminoe Ward Office of Osaka City to promote growth and development of the ward. Through this partnership, we will collaborate on initiatives to support children’s healthy developments and education, as well as the maintenance and promotion of health., showcasing the appealing aspects of the community, and urban development, working to revitalize the local community within the ward

As the first concrete initiative of our collaboration, we participated in the health event “Marutoku Health Checkup” held at Suminoe Maikon Hall on June 27, 2025. We provided gait analysis and foot measurement services, offering walking improvement advice to ward residents who attended the event.

Moving forward, we plan to implement various initiatives, including providing learning programs to elementary schools that explore upcycling using leftover leather from baseball gloves, and conducting longitudinal data collection on changes in residents’ walking patterns and foot measurements for practical application.

Mizuno will continue to collaborate with local governments to address social challenges such as declining physical fitness in children and extending healthy life expectancy, while advancing our sustainability initiatives to realize a sustainable society.
