Acquisition of the “Tomonin ” Mark – A Symbol of Corporate Commitment to Supporting Work-Caregiving Balance
Mizuno has formulated and published a general business owner Action Plan based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children .
We are pleased to announce that we have recently obtained the “Tomonin” mark after documenting our caregiving-related policies and initiatives on the “Work-Life Balance Support Plaza” (R youritsu Shien no Hiroba) operated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare demonstrating our active commitment to supporting work-caregiving balance.
The “Tomonin” mark is a logo that companies can use when they commit to creating workplace environments that enable employees to balance work and caregiving responsibilities and take concrete action toward this goal. This system was established by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare to prevent caregiver resignation and to raise social awareness and recognition of work-life balance support.
At Mizuno, we are committed to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) to secure sustainable competitiveness, so as to respond flexibly to global competition and changes in the market environment.
Using this “Tomonin Mark” certification as a catalyst, we will further accelerate our support for employees balancing work and caregiving, and aim for sustainable growth as a company by helping employees maintain their careers while caring for family members.
