Mizuno is working to create opportunities and launch programs that enable anyone to enjoy sports and move their bodies.

Mizuno and World Yuru Sports Association jointly developed 500-step football and are selling the program to corporations, shopping centers, and municipalities.

As a result of changing lifestyles and heightened health consciousness in recent years, sports that are easy to pick up have attracted greater attention. Lack of exercise is said to increase people’s risk of developing lifestyle diseases and also to lead to reduced physical fitness and everyday functionality (e.g. declining physical capacity of bones and muscles, etc.).

Mizuno has been holding Nordic Walking classes, a fun and easy walking program that anyone, including seniors, can take part in with peace of mind.

In recent years, fewer and fewer locations are available where children can play freely. While parks may be available, many forbid playing with balls, meaning children are faced with restrictions on many forms of play they used to enjoy. Accordingly, this means children have fewer opportunities for exercise.
A lack of exercise and athletic ability when young can have major impact on their health as adults. To provide all children with opportunities to move and exercise, we have developed “Mizuno Ninja School”, athletic play program for children.

Breast cancer is said to be one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in Australia. Over 19,000 Australians are diagnosed each year and approximately 8 women still die from breast cancer every day.

Mizuno Australia has collaborated with The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to launch #ProjectZero, a campaign with the goal of reducing the number of deaths from breast cancer to zero by 2030.

We are surrounded by many top athletes who share our aspirations for the future. These athletes serve as instructors at the Mizuno Victory Clinic, which are held in various parts of the world to teach the joy of sports through practical skill trainings and recreational activities, as well as to promote local sports.

The clinics are designed to promote a deeper understanding of sports through interaction between athletes and participants, including instruction on world-class techniques and mental control over adversity.

In recent years, Europe, the U.S., and many other countries around the world have been tightening regulations on chemical residues in products, and the demand for environmental protection and product safety has been increasing year by year. We believe that it is our important responsibility to ensure appropriate quality so that our customers can use our products and services safely and with peace of mind.

We are a member of AFIRM, an international organization that manages a list of regulated chemical substances.
